Mary Claire assumed the position of Executive Director of the NativityMiguel Network of Schools in 2009 after a two year period as Executive Director of the Bronx Charter School for Excellence, a top performing charter school in NYC. Prior to that she was a Founder and Director of the Cornelia Connelly Center; a NativityMiguel Network School for girls in New York City, one of the earliest replications of the Nativity model. Mary Claire works passionately to ensure the high quality, careful growth, and operational sustainability of all NativityMiguel Schools. She is a frequent speaker on matters of ed reform and the crisis in inner city Catholic education, Mary Claire received a B.S. in Business Administration from Misericordia University, Dallas, PA and a M.A. Theological Studies from Weston Jesuit School of Theology, now Boston College. She also has been a member on various boards some of which include: Girls Prep Charter School in NYC, Cristo Rey New York High School, and Nativity Mission Center.
